Adam Dixon, Ph.D.
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Dixon leads technology development, clinical translation, and commercialization at RIVANNA. His career spans the development and commercialization of advanced imaging platforms at GE Healthcare and RIVANNA, including the Logiq E9 (ultrasound), Lightspeed 750HD (computed tomography), and Precision 180 (fluoroscopy) at GE, and RIVANNA’s flagship Accuro (ultrasound). He has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and patents and secured significant SBIR funding to support RIVANNA’s technology development and commercialization efforts. Under his technical leadership, every SBIR granted to RIVANNA has resulted in a commercialized product or significant follow-on funding, most recently culminating in FDA 510(k) clearances for RIVANNA’s leading regional anesthesia and fracture care platforms. Dr. Dixon holds a doctorate in biomedical engineering from the University of Virginia and an undergraduate degree from Duke University.
Craig Loomis, MBA
Sr. Director, Product Management
Craig brings over 25 years of healthcare product development and commercialization experience, including a career at GE Healthcare, where he held roles in product development across CT, MR, X-ray, ECG, and point-of-care ultrasound. Notably, he spearheaded the introduction of the market-leading Venue product family. Craig has also played pivotal roles in leading product development for startups, specializing in cardiology image review workstations, COVID diagnostics, and handheld ultrasound technologies. His contributions include holding several patents, successfully developing or launching over 30 products throughout his career, and managing portfolios exceeding $200 million. At RIVANNA, Craig leads product strategy for the company’s next-generation platforms, working with internal and external stakeholders to advance commercial success. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Delphine Le Roux, Ph.D., PMP
Sr. Director, Market Access & Strategic Partnerships
Dr. Le Roux leads a cross-functional team at RIVANNA spanning program execution, market access, and strategic partnerships. She oversees a BARDA-funded program totaling $52 million to date, with follow-on contract options executed ahead of schedule — demonstrating strong execution and program performance. She drives the translation of RIVANNA’s technology platform into commercial opportunity, leading market access and expansion efforts across reimbursement strategy, clinical evidence generation, and adoption through key opinion leaders (KOLs) and medical societies. She also leads business development across government sponsors and strategic and corporate partners, aligning clinical, regulatory, and commercialization pathways to accelerate market entry and growth. Previously, Dr. Le Roux contributed to IDEMIA’s Rapid DNA initiative alongside partners including Lockheed Martin, Microlab, and Minifab, and led the development and commercialization of innovative biotechnologies at LumaCyte. She holds a doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Versailles and a master’s in biotechnology from AgroParisTech. Her CliftonStrengths of WOO, Communication, and Positivity support strong external engagement and partnership development.
Mikel Lewis
Director, Manufacturing Operations
Mikel leads manufacturing operations and supply chain for RIVANNA’s ultrasound platforms, driving production scale-up ahead of commercial launch. He brings hands-on regulatory experience navigating FDA and international requirements across product-line transitions and applies a Lean Thinking approach to operations shaped by the philosophies of Henry Ford, Taiichi Ohno, and Peter Drucker. Prior to RIVANNA, as plant operations manager at Corning Life Sciences, he was responsible for manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and supply chain. At the height of the global pandemic, he led the rapid design, validation, and launch of Corning’s first Viral Transport Media production line. He served five years as a U.S. Navy submarine warfare officer, qualifying as a naval nuclear engineer, and holds a B.S. in mathematics from Jacksonville University.
Mike Mast
Director, Finance & Business Operations
Mike provides the financial infrastructure underpinning the company’s growth and commercial ramp. He brings over a decade of finance and accounting experience, including a career at Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice, where he achieved the title of senior manager. His expertise spans financial reporting and technical accounting, including a two-year rotation at Deloitte’s London office supporting clients in raising capital through public debt and equity offerings in the US and UK, as well as advising on mergers, acquisitions, and go-public transactions. Before joining RIVANNA, Mike served as vice president controller at a private equity-backed telemedicine organization, where he led company’s ERP implementation, established scalable financial and operational processes, and integrated acquired businesses to support rapid growth. He holds a B.S. in commerce from the University of Virginia.
Paul Sheeran, Ph.D.
Director, R&D
Dr. Sheeran leads R&D, oversees IP strategy, coordinates grant-based clinical collaborations, and manages the company’s proprietary clinical datasets. He has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and patents and has helped secure substantial SBIR funding to support RIVANNA’s technology development. Prior to RIVANNA, he worked at Philips Healthcare, leading product development efforts focused on 3D ultrasound imaging, contrast imaging, and workflow optimization. Notably, Dr. Sheeran introduced algorithmic enhancements that reduced workflow burden by up to 54% on the globally deployed EPIQ imaging platform. He holds a doctorate in biomedical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and dual bachelor’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering from NC State. He was awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and held the Frederick Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship at Sunnybrook Research Institute.
Vicki Brothers
Director, Brand & Marketing Communications
Vicki leads downstream marketing across brand identity, digital strategy, trade show presence, clinical KOL content, sales enablement, and media relations, and drives positioning and messaging across all company and commercial platforms. Her team’s demand generation strategies have contributed to significant commercial growth milestones, and their Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) work positions RIVANNA prominently in AI-powered search results. Vicki brings over 30 years of brand-building experience, from BBDO-Detroit, where she contributed to campaigns for Mercedes-Benz Financial, Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge, to Nectar, her boutique Charlottesville agency, where she conceived RIVANNA’s brand identity and designed the flagship Accuro product UI. She holds a B.A. in commercial design with a minor in business.
Zach Leonard
Director of Product Development
Zach manages product strategy and roadmaps, leads hardware and manufacturing engineering, and oversees design transfer, manufacturing scale-up, and sustaining initiatives across RIVANNA’s product platforms. Prior to RIVANNA, he held engineering and leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Baker Hughes, and Asensus Surgical. At Asensus, he led mechanical development for key subsystems of the next-generation LUNA robotic surgery platform and managed the development of a major Senhance surgical system upgrade, delivering a cleared device and consumable to market. He has a proven track record in new product introduction and design transfer and holds over 10 patents. Zach earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering with a minor in business from Texas A&M University.
